This PowerPoint presentation, given at MANCEF’s COMS World 2020 Conference, provides an overview of the results of the 2019 MEMS Industry Commercialization Report Card. Letter grades were provided to the 14 critical success factors for MEMS commercialization by the 43 respondents to this Delphi-based study. A commercialization timetable for 14 different MEMS is also provided. Details into the topics of Marketing and Venture Capital Attraction including verbatims from the respondents are presented. Recommendations and calls to action to accelerate the commercialization process are also offered.

Technology Clusters and Their Role in the Successful Commercialization Process
This PowerPoint presentation, given at the MANCEF COMS World 2020 Conference, provides background on industrial clusters through the years beginning with cloth weaving in Lowell Massachusetts in the early 1800s and with a focus on microelectronic clusters worldwide. Clusters are defined and benefits, as well as the critical constituents for a successful cluster, are addressed. Case studies of several technology clusters worldwide including BRIDG (Florida USA); CEA Leti (France); and Printocent (Finland) are presented.

Printed, Flexible, Stretchable and Fabric Sensors for Sensor-Based Systems: Challenges and Opportunities
This PowerPoint presentation, given at the MANCEF COMS World 2020, provides an overview of printed/flexible/ stretchable and functional fabric (P/F/S & FF) sensors and sensor-based systems. Presented are topics including: user and supplier benefits; review of parameters currently being measured by various commercial suppliers; overview of the R and D landscape; and case studies of several products currently on the market. Barriers to the successful commercialization of these technologies and recommended strategies to overcome the barriers are also presented.
